What do I Wear?

While there is no need to dress up for your dance lesson (that’s only necessary for performances and events), it is important to wear clothes that you can move in comfortably. That could be jeans and a t-shirt, button down, slacks, skirt, dress, or yoga pants.

As long as you’re comfortable and able to move, you’re ready to dance!

When it comes to your shoes: avoid rubber bottom shoes (like sneakers) at all costs! Rubber shoe bottoms will stick to the floor and make it difficult to turn. Instead, try to wear something with a suede or leather sole. If those aren’t available, a hard sole also works.

What Type of People Come to Dance?

All types! One great aspect of dancing is that it draws people together from a huge diversity of backgrounds. When it comes to age, the diversity holds. Our students primarily range from 25 – 65, but we’ve taught younger, older, and everywhere in between!

As long as you’re ready to learn and ready to dance, we’re here to teach you!

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope. Just a smile, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn!

Where are you located?

We are located at 8419 Cincinnati Columbus Rd, West Chester, OH 45069. You will find our dance studio in the small building in front of Impact Fitness on the corner of Butler Warren and Cincinnati Columbus Road.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up by giving us a call. Our contact number is 513.926.1344. Ask for Jeff Ryan.

How much do private lessons cost?

We have a variety of packages based on your needs. And we work with all budget types and sizes. While there is no one-size-fits-all program, we understand that dancing does cost money and if you’re willing to work with us, we will work out a payment solution that fits your needs.

What if I travel a lot? Can I Still Learn to Dance?

We work to make our schedule flexible so you always have time to come in. We have plenty of clients who travel frequently but still manage to dance… and have fun doing it! As long as you’re willing to work with our schedule, we’re willing to work with yours.

What Type of Shoes Should I Wear?

Avoid rubber soles and flip flops. If possible, wear something with a hard or leather sole. If you need to buy dance shoes we recommend buying them in person first so you get a feel for shoe types and sizes. You can purchase dance shoes at stores such as Cincinnati Dancewear or Diana’s Dancewear.

My Wedding is Coming Up Fast. Do I Have Time to Learn How to Dance?

Most definitely. While we do need a bit more time for in-depth choreography, we can always make your dance better by giving you a few steps. Whatever your situation, we will work with you to help make your wedding vision a reality!

If you’re ready to get started, contact us to schedule you first lesson : )

Where Will I Use My Dancing?

Great question! There are a variety of places to social dance around the city. We can provide you with a list of many popular locations, and as you get involved in the world of dance you will continue to discover more!

What if I Don't Have a Partner?

No problem. Our lessons and classes are designed in a way to work for both singles and couples. In fact, a large majority of Jeff’s students are single! So if you’re ready to take the plunge – do it. We can’t wait to dance with you!

What if I Have Two Left Feet?

Don’t worry! Our instructors are trained in teaching you how to dance by making it easy. We start off with the basics and slowly help you progress forward, allowing you to take the lessons at your own pace. Using our techniques we are proud say we have never failed at teaching someone to dance!

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

We require you to contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson. While this is the official policy, we do understand emergencies. So if you have something urgent come up and you let us know, we will still allow you to reschedule as long as you take your lesson within the next week.

Can I Hire You to Teach My Class or Perform at My Event?

Yes! We are enthusiastic about teaching and performing dance. The location doesn’t matter. Simply contact us and we’ll see if we can work something out.
